ACE Eddie Nominations For 2018 Announced

The American Cinema Editors guild awards are unlike many of the other major American guild awards in that a small selection of voters decide upon the nominees, though their choices are normally about in line with what one might anticipate from such a group. 2018's crop is no exception, with the strongest contenders for the year's editing awards mostly present. Black Panther and Widows fail to make the cut in the Drama category, where Bohemian Rhapsody continues to prove its remarkable popularity following last night's extraordinary Golden Globes success. Otherwise, however, there's little of particular note to report here. Winners will be announced on the 1st of February. For now, all your ACE Eddie nominees are below:
