Vancouver Film Critics Circle award nominations: Marriage Story and The Twentieth Century lead

The Vancouver Film Critics Circle keeps it simple with their yearly awards - nine international prizes, ten Canadian, just three nominees per category. This year, with the focus being largely on above-the-line disciplines, Marriage Story leads in the international field, with three of its actors up for awards. It's outdone, however, by The Twentieth Century in the Canadian field, as it scores an impressive seven mentions.
The VFCC will announce the recipients of its international awards on the 16th of December, just two days from now. Its Canadian awards will be handed out at their annual ceremony on the 6th of January.
