Koreeda Hirokazu's Shoplifters is comfortably one of the most hotly-anticipated international films of 2018, after winning the Palme d'Or at Cannes in May. Since then, it has largely been making the theatrical rounds in East Asia, but it arrives in US and UK theatres alike on the 23rd of November. The film's first English-language trailer has debuted online and is available to view above. Make sure to check this one out, if only for the penultimate performance from the recently-departed Kiki Kirin, prior to her passing one of the finest actors in the business.
