Danish filmmaker Mads Brugger won the Documentary World Cinema Directing prize at Sundance earlier this year for Cold Case Hammarskjold, which has created the kind of political waves not seen by a doc arguably since Errol Morris' groundbreaking The Thin Blue Line, 31 years ago. The investigation into the killing of former UN Secretary General Dag Hammarskjold has caused more than just conversation and controversy, though if you want to learn more, you'll either have to look it up or await the movie's release. European releases are rolling out alongside festival appearances through these first few months of the year; keep an eye out for other release date confirmations. Check out the brief trailer above, which thankfully gives away as little as possible.
