Trailer: Capernaum

The first official trailer for Nadine Labaki's Capernaum bears all the hallmarks I hate about international trailers - over-emphatic music, minimal dialogue (lest the modern-day arthouse audiences catch on that, shit, this might actually be in another language!), far too many meaningless quotes from critics. I'm still very much looking forward to seeing this Cannes Jury Prize winner, arguably even more so now - sift through the dreck of how this trailer has been edited, and there's some highly promising material on display. Out in the US on the 14th of December and in the UK on the 1st of February.
