The Midnight Sky wins top Visual Effects Society award

George Clooney's The Midnight Sky

I've been known (by myself, in my mind) to look down upon blogs posting movie news LATE! But this year's awards season is so long, and my priorities are so distant from it, that I simply cannot care about the Visual Effects Society awards. I was awake as they commenced, two nights ago, and chose not to pay them a jot of attention. When I awoke the next morning, I found out The Midnight Sky had won their main live action award, and I somehow cared even less! In better news, Soul won all five of its nominations, including beating live action projects in one category. Remind yourself of the VES' 2020/21 award nominations, and check out the winners below.
