The Favourite / Beale Street / A Star Is Born Lead Georgia Critics Award Nominations

Lady Gaga in A Star Is Born

When the Georgia Film Critics Association started up a few years back, I was somewhat sceptical of its legitimacy. But the group has proven itself as a quality association in the years since; its 2018 nominations are a strong selection, with The Favourite, If Beale Street Could Talk and A Star Is Born tying atop the slate with an impressive nine mentions apiece. Members don't have long to decide on whom they want to win, as ballots are due in on Thursday, with winners set to be declared on Friday, the 11th of January. Nominations in full below.
