The 2007 Critics Consensus Award Winners

There was no room for anything other than No Country in the 2007 Critics Consensus Awards. Nominated for seven prizes, it won six, losing only Best Cinematography. Despite winning two awards itself, the Oscar winner in that category, There Will Be Blood, also lost with the critics there. Instead, Janusz Kaminski takes that prize in a surprise win for The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, also bringing it to two awards. So nothing for Roger Deakins, then, regardless of his double nominations (no bother, since he already has double wins here). And among No Country for Old Men's six wins were four for Ethan and Joel Coen, a new record for awards won in a single frame. Check out the '07 nominations here, and the award winners below.
