The 2004 Critics Consensus Award Winners

Critics Consensus Awards: consider yourselves swept. Seven nominations and seven awards for Alexander Payne's Sideways, which is not only the biggest clean sweep at the CCAs to date, but also the biggest awards haul at all, beating Far from Heaven's recent record of six wins. That's more than half of all CCA prizes for 2004, including a shock Best Actor victory for non-Oscar nominated Paul Giamatti over that awards season's runaway favourite, Jamie Foxx for Ray.
