The 2003 Critics Consensus Award Winners

Three years, three Lord of the Rings movies, zero CCA awards for Best Picture. From the bottom up, it likely looked like this would be The Return of the King's year, though despite a Best Director win for Peter Jackson, it was Lost in Translation that proved the critics' favourite movie of 2003. That makes Sofia Coppola the first female director to win the top award and, even more outrageously, the first woman to win multiple Critics Consensus Awards for a single frame.
