Sunset critics get jump on awards season with 2021 nominations
Updated: Nov 26, 2021

Despite operating out of the heart of the American movie industry, L.A., and comprising a number of well-known names in the film community, the Sunset Film Critics Circle hasn't quite made a name for itself among the mass of critics' groups yet. That's possibly because they're sorely lacking in intelligent members, taste in film, and a smart awards strategy, though at least releasing your year-end nominations in the middle of November does get you noticed... a little. Winners will be announced on the 2nd of December. Don't wait up!
