Roma Wins Top LAFCA Prize... Just


Yoo Ah In and Steven Yeun in Burning

Cinephiles are abuzz with the results of voting on the best in cinema for 2018 from the Los Angeles Film Critics Association. Deservedly, imo, Roma takes yet another Best Picture award, but not without a fight. Second place Burning shares the Foreign Language Film prize with Shoplifters, while Alfonso Cuaron is beaten into second for Best Director by surprise, though extremely welcome Debra Granik for Leave No Trace. These are really excellent choices almost across the board by LAFCA. See them all just below:
