Roma Leads Strong Slate Of Award Winners From SFFCC

Michael B. Jordan in Black Panther

Poor The Favourite! Not that it's faring particularly poorly so far this awards season, nor that its prospects of doing so look poor either from here on out. But despite leading the San Francisco Film Critics Circle award nominations for 2018, it fails to translate any of its nine mentions into actual wins. Instead, Roma - what else - picks up the SFFCC award for Best Picture, though it's far from a sweep, with big wins for BlacKkKlansman and First Reformed too.
