Raya and the Last Dragon leads 2021 Annie Award nominations
The Annie Awards haven't always been among the film industry's most estimable voting bodies - just look up the Kung Fu Panda fiasco - but these days, their reputation as one of animation's biggest champions in Hollywood is pretty stable. They've even given a big boost to a Walt Disney Animation title, something pretty much unthinkable some years ago, with Raya and the Last Dragon scoring 10 nominations for the 2021 Annies. That's not a figure rivalled by a lot of its fellow top category nominees, as four of the ten movies up for either of the two Best Feature categories aren't up for a single other prize. Winners will be announced on 26 February.
