Promising Young Woman is Columbus critics' Best Film of 2020

Promising indeed! The Columbus Film Critics Association has declared Emerald Fennell's debut feature Promising Young Woman the best picture of 2020. Fennell herself wins prizes for Breakthrough Film Artist and Original Screenplay, while her lead Carey Mulligan wins Best Actress. The Columbus critics also showed support for Chloe Zhao's Nomadland - she herself wins Director and Adapted Screenplay, with the film placing second for Best Film.
