Parasite wins top 2019 New York Film Critics Online awards

A triple victory for Bong Joon Ho from the New York Film Critics Online's 2019 awards. His South Korean comedy-thriller Parasite wins Best Picture, Director and Screenplay from the NYFCO, continuing to mark its territory as one of this awards season's strongest contenders. Voters thus spared it an extra, redundant prize in Foreign Language Film, choosing Celine Sciamma's equally-acclaimed period romance Portrait of a Lady on Fire to win there instead.
