Parasite and Marriage Story share big wins at Vancouver Film Critics Circle awards

The Vancouver Film Critics Circle announces its award winners in two batches each year. First come the international prizes, in light of the fact that the VFCC awards ceremony isn't that big a draw for international stars come January. Then, the Canadian prizes, whose nominees, you'll recall, were announced concurrently with the international ones. Those very nominees can be relied upon to attend the ceremony, this year on the 6th of January, so they'll be announced live then.

As for the international awards, Parasite picks up the big two, while Marriage Story claims every other award for which it was nominated, leaving very little room for anything else to sneak through. The VFCC sure had their favourites this year, and fine choices they are!
