In what's emerging as a surprise development not two weeks into awards season 2019-20, Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood is making a run for the title of top Oscar Best Picture contender. With a number of big prizes to its name now, it adds the St. Louis Film Critics Association's Best Picture award to that haul. Indeed, the SLFCA really, really liked Once Upon a Time... giving it a whopping nine awards from ten nominations! Plenty of space for some other winners, though, as this group lays it on thick with the categories, and both 1917 and Marriage Story find room to pick up multiple awards themselves.
