North Texas Critics Name Green Book The Best Picture Of 2018
I feel ya, Toni! Another critics group from a central or southern U.S. region, another win for Green Book. Peter Farrelly's movie, which has drawn criticism from journalists of colour, black American historians, and even the family of its leading black character, has just won Best Picture from the North Texas Film Critics Association. It's like that. Mahershala Ali also wins in Supporting Actor for the film, while leading acting prizes go to Rami Malek for Bohemian Rhapsody and Toni Collette for Hereditary, which softens the blow a little, I guess.
