North Carolina Film Critics Association Announces Award Nominees For 2018

42 professional North Carolinan film critics comprise the North Carolina Film Critics Association, and they've just recently voted on their choices for the best achievements in cinema for 2018. A very close field between several titles nevertheless sees two lead outright - If Beale Street Could Talk and Roma each collect six mentions, two fine films making for a fine reflection on the year. Interesting here is the cold shoulder shown to both The Favourite and A Star Is Born across many categories, though the pair makes room for nine nominations between them. Winners will be announed on the 2nd of January. Check it out:
