Nomadland wins five Boston Online Film Critics Association awards

The Boston critics aren't just a geographically early bunch, they're also early to ring in on their picks for 2020. The Boston Online Film Critics Association has followed their higher profile municipal brethren the BSFC in announcing the winners for its year-end awards, with an identical top two choices for Best Picture. Chloe Zhao's Nomadland tops their list, winning four more prizes in the process, and fellow awards season heavyweight (at least currently) Kelly Reichardt's First Cow takes second, alas winning no prizes at all.
