Marriage Story wins four Nevada Film Critics Society awards
Evidently, the film critics of Nevada required some outlet other than the Las Vegas Film Critics Society for expressing their year-end opinions, and why shouldn't they? Alas, some of the questionable opinions of the Nevada Film Critics Society for 2019 make a pretty strong case for why, indeed, they should not, but I'm not one for censorship, so the NFCS gets away with it, if only just. Among the high points here are acting prizes for Jennifer Lopez and Joe Pesci, though the big news is that Marriage Story wins four big awards, including Best Picture and Director.
