The Atlanta Film Critics Circle felt the power of the licorice pizza this year when voting on their top achievements in film for 2021. Paul Thomas Anderson's new comedy Licorice Pizza takes five prizes from the AFCC including Best Film, while runner-up The Power of the Dog from Jane Campion wins her Best Director and a further three awards; of the five acting prizes dispersed (including a Best Lead Actress tie), four were to these two movies alone.
