One of the latest additions to the annual roster of film critics' groups is the Latino Entertainment Journalists Association, and they're also one of the later groups to announce their awards nominations for 2022. Everything Everywhere All at Once unsurprisingly leads their 5th annual slate with a tremendous 16 nominations, a number which none of the other nine Best Picture nominees can even come close to. But Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio puts up a very strong performance too, with its nine mentions, and it's not the only Latino-helmed title in contention for the top prize: Bardo, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths also makes its first appearance in a Best Picture lineup of the season. Winners will be announced on 18 February.
