International Cinephile Society names Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains the Best Picture of 2020
Another awards season enlivened considerably by the announcement of the International Cinephile Society's picks for the best in film of the previous year. This time, they've selected Gu Xiao Gang's remarkable debut Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains as their best of 2020 - an excellent choice, capping an excellent Top 25 from the group and a very strong lineup of award winners overall. Love to see First Cow and Lingua Franca get some attention too. Very my thing! Well done, ICS!
