Nomadland is on a roll through the early 2020-2021 awards season. It wins yet another Best Picture prize here from the Houston Film Critics Society, also taking Best Director and Best Cinematography. Brits Carey Mulligan and Riz Ahmed win the leading acting prizes for Promising Young Woman and Sound of Metal respectively. The HFCS' Texas Independent Film Award winner will be announced on the 31st of January. You can check out their 2020 award nominations here.
