Green Book Wins Top PGA Award

Well, that's one way to piss everybody off! The Producers Guild of America has declared Peter Farrelly's Green Book the finest achievement in production that cinema had to offer in 2018, which it most definitely is not. These voters love a good money-maker, so one wonders why they chose a movie lingering in the bottom half of earners from their nominees, and one wonders how they did so if this supposedly-divisive picture ought to have fallen afoul of their preferential voting system. Worth noting hat the PGA is the only group to use this system other than the Academy, though the Oscars are over a month away still, and this time last year we all thought Three Billboards was set to bulldoze its way through the rest of the season. Hey, at least it wasn't Bohemian Rhapsody, right? Right? All the sad details below.
