Three of the Best Feature nominees had won one prize each before the winner was announced at last night's Gotham Independent Film Awards - the one that took a second was Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert's Everything Everywhere All at Once, following Quan Ke Huy's win in Outstanding Supporting Performance. His co-star Michelle Yeoh missed out on the Leading prize, however, as Danielle Deadwyler surprised to deservedly snatch a trophy from the Independent Film Project for her superb work in Chinonye Chukwu's Till.
