First Cow wins Florida critics' 2020 Best Picture prize

The Florida Film Critics Circle has announces the winners (and runners-up) of its 2020 awards. Kelly Reichardt's First Cow won another Best Picture prize, easily keeping up with its main competition, Chloe Zhao's Nomadland. Zhao won Best Director and her leading actress, Frances McDormand, won Best Actress. And a pair of surprise frontrunners in supporting acting categories, Maria Bakalova and Paul Raci, consolidated their early awards season leads in their respective categories.
