Denver Film Critics Society announces 2021 award winners

Benedict Cumberbatch, The Power of the Dog, Jane Campion, Denver Film Critics Society
Benedict Cumberbatch in The Power of the Dog

I apologize for flooding Screen On Screen's measly few readers' eyeballs with incessant images of Benedict Cumberbatch these past couple months, but alas The Power of the Dog just keeps winning awards, and keeps deserving them too. Such is the case today with the Denver Film Critics Society, which has decided upon Jane Campion's moody Western as its pick for the Best Picture of 2021, among five honours in total for the film. It could have been much worse - they could have picked Spider-Man: No Way Home - so be visited by Cumberbatch's visage with grace and gratitude! Remind yourself of the Denver critics' awards nominations here, and check out all the winners below.
