The National Board of Review has declared its prestigious award winners for 2020, and Spike Lee's Da 5 Bloods has topped their Best Film list. The war drama also takes their prizes for Best Director and Best Ensemble, while late supporting star Chadwick Boseman is honoured as 2020's NBR Icon. Twitter is abuzz with the surprise news that The Trial of the Chicago 7, which many had predicted to win Best Film from the NBR, has missed out on even a mention among their Top 10 Films. And Brits triumph in the leading acting categories, with Promising Young Woman's Carey Mulligan and Sound of Metal's Riz Ahmed both winning.
