Costume Designers Guild announces 2020/21 awards nominations

The Costume Designers Guild has announced the nominations for its prestigious annual awards for excellence in film and TV costume design. They've gone for some interesting choices, including Dolittle for Sci-Fi/Fantasy and Judas and the Black Messiah for Period. Potential Oscar nominees such as News of the World, The Trial of the Chicago 7 and The United States vs. Billie Holiday are all absent, as are dozens of deserving nominees in the always-crowded Contemporary category. Winners will be announced on the 13th of April.
