Bombshell drops at 2019 SAG award nominations

The Screen Actors Guild has announced its 2019 award nominations, with the usual smattering of surprises. Totally absent, unfortunately, are female-directed and female-driven fare The Farewell and Little Women, and there are notable misses in Best Actor for several contenders such as Robert de Niro, Eddie Murphy, Jonathan Pryce and more!
Bombshell lands individual nods for all three of its leads plus an Ensemble mention - not necessarily obligatory for a triple-nominee in individual categories, as Marriage Story misses there, as does critics' ensemble fave Knives Out. On the bright side, however, Parasite pulls off an Ensemble nomination in surely one of the biggest SAG surprises they've thrown us in a long time. And with three nods each, Scarlett Johansson, Al Pacino and Margot Robbie are all the joint most-nominated actors of the year.
The 26th annual SAG Awards will take place on 19th of January in a live telecast ceremony.
