Black Film Critics Circle names The Woman King as Best Film of 2022

The Black Film Critics Circle has announced its award winners for the films of 2022. Gina Prince-Bythewood's The Woman King is the top winner overall, with three competitive prizes including Best Film and Best Director; its co-lead, Viola Davis, also receives a special award. Everything Everywhere All at Once, Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio and The Whale also receive multiple prizes.
