Black Film Critics Circle announces 2020 award winners

After a lull of a few days, the critics awards are back on with the announcement of the Black Film Critics Circle's 2020 awards. George C. Wolfe's Ma Rainey's Black Bottom picks up four prizes including leading acting awards for stars Chadwick Boseman and Viola Davis, and Best Film. The BFCC finds ample room in Best Director for not one but two women of colour, as Regina King and Chloe Zhao share honours for One Night in Miami and Nomadland, respectively.
