Belfast wins top Las Vegas critics' award; 5 for West Side Story

It may have led the nominations, announced a few days ago, and it may even have led the award winners with five trophies, but Steven Spielberg's West Side Story is not the Las Vegas Film Critics Society's favourite film of 2021. That, instead, is Belfast, which tops their Best Picture Top 10, with West Side Story in second. Its dominance in the technical categories reduces Dune's haul from the below-the-line sweeps it's performed at other critics' awards, while The Power of the Dog must make do with a mere Screenplay prize.
