Avengers: Infinity War Wins Top Visual Effects Award

Four prizes for Oscar nominee Avengers: Infinity War at the 2018 Visual Effects Society awards. The blockbuster spectacular led a diverse array of nominees for the top award - Outstanding Visual Effects in a Photoreal Feature - including other CGI-heavy titles including Ready Player One and Solo: A Star Wars Story, and it stands a strong chance at doing the same at the Academy Awards later this month. The Supporting VFX category was won by another Oscar nominee, First Man, which could well be a spoiler there. Check out the VES nominees here, and the award winners below.
