Atlanta Film Critics Circle announces 2022 awards winners

The first week proper of awards season 2022-23 begins with the Atlanta Film Critics Circle, who've announced the winners of their annual awards. They're spread throughout films from their 2022 Top 10, with their #1, Everything Everywhere All at Once, only winning in a further two categories, as fellow Top 10 honorees like The Banshees of Inisherin, Tar and Top Gun: Maverick claim several prizes between them. Interesting to note, though, that their #2, The Fabelmans, wins nothing, and that Michelle Yeoh has yet to bag a trophy for her much-lauded performance in an extremely popular movie, indeed the AFCC's favourite of the year.
