All That Breathes is top winner at 2022 IDA awards

Yesterday, the International Documentary Association declared the winners of its 38th annual IDA Documentary Awards. They chose Shaunak Sen's beautiful, compassionate nature doc All That Breathes as their top winner, presenting it with prizes in the Best Feature, Best Director and Best Editing categories, alongside the previously announced special Pare Lorentz. The only of its four nominations that it lost was, peculiarly, for one of the movie's strongest attributes: its cinematography, with that award going instead to Sara Dosa's Fire of Love, which also received the Best Writing prize.
