2022 Chicago Indie Critics awards nominations announced

The Chicago Indie Critics have rung in with their nominations for the best achievements in film for 2022. As expected by now, Everything Everywhere All at Once is the clear frontrunner here with 14 nominations, more than double the top amount earned by any other movie. Next in line are a bunch of movies with six nods, none of them up against EEAAO for Best Independent Film: The Fabelmans, RRR and Top Gun: Maverick, all up for Best Studio Film, and Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio. Winners will be announced two weeks today, on 23 January. All the details below.
