Seems like every damn post on this site leads with a picture of The Power of the Dog, but then why shouldn't they? After all, nearly every damn post on this site these days is reporting that Jane Campion's marvellous neo-Western has won yet another well-earned Best Picture prize. Today, it's the turn of the Gay and Lesbian Entertainment Critics Association, which also bestows its 2021 Best Director and Best Screenplay prizes upon Campion. But it's outdone in the number of Dorian Awards taken by a single movie this year, as Jonas Poher Rasmussen's animated documentary Flee wins four, including beating The Power of the Dog to Best LGBTQ Film. Check out the 2021 Dorian Award nominations right here.
