The picture for the first consolidated Best Sound category at the upcoming Oscars becomes a little clearer today with the announcement of the 2020/21 Cinema Audio Society's awards nominations. The Live Action category yields a selection of buzzy titles with strong credits in their respective sound departments, all of which cropped up in the Motion Picture Sound Editors' own nominations yesterday. Winners will be announced on the 17th of April.
