The American Cinema Editors voters made some interesting choices with their award winners for 2019. In a crowded Drama field, they opted for the sole non-English language candidate, with Parasite's Yang Jin Mo beating out tough competition including editing icon Thelma Schoonmaker for The Irishman. And in Comedy, they echoed the Academy in preferring Tom Eagles' work in Jojo Rabbit over Fred Raskin's more widely-praised cutting for Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood. This is a tricky category to predict this year, and the ACE Eddie award results only make it trickier!
