2019 ACE Eddie award nominations announced

Eddie Murphy in Dolemite Is My Name

With a shorter awards season than normal, we're getting a heap of guild nominations in the early part of December, and here's one of the major ones: the American Cinema Editors. Another season, another day, another nomination for Parasite, as Bong Joon Ho's masterpiece latches itself onto yet more voters' hearts. Who knows how many more it can infect before the race is over!

Otherwise, this year's ACE Eddie nominations offer up little in the way of surprises, though there's one notable feature: for the first time in the group's history, three non-English language movies are recognized. Alongside Parasite, The Farewell and I Lost My Body compete, although each in a separate category.

Check back on the 17th of January to see the winners in all competitive categories. Mark the date!
