2018 Dublin Film Critics Circle Awards Announced

An ever-interesting lineup of award winners and finalists from the Dublin Film Critics Circle. International titles abound, as do a few holdovers from 2017 that received Irish release in 2018 (always happy to see them remembered so many months later), but it's Oscar frontrunner A Star Is Born that triumphs overall. Not only does it top the Best Film poll, it also takes prizes for both of its lead actors. There are some excellent choices in here, so while it's almost a shame that the Dublin critics opted for such a conventional Best Film winner, it's only almost a shame, since there's plenty to appreciate otherwise.
