Remember when I said Woody Allen was about to start dominating the Critics Consensus Awards? Well, that domination reaches its peak in 1986, when Hannah and Her Sisters was the top pick among critics' year-end awards and polls across four major categories. That's the second-best haul for any title over the CCA's 18 frames to date, and it bumps Allen up to a record-doubling six awards. What makes that even more painful is what was beaten: David Lynch's Blue Velvet, you'll notice, features not once in the below list of award winners. That's because it came second in three categories: Best Picture, Director and Supporting Actor - a very close second in all three!
