There's been a glut of brilliant costume design across major American movies this past year, as reflected in the 2018 Costume Designers Guild award nominations. 15 great choices by CDG members, and many more equally great options omitted, alas. Would have been lovely to have seen Fantastic Beasts, How to Talk to Girls at Parties, A Simple Favour, Solo, Suspiria... so many more, but this is a very fine slate all the same, with a great variety of styles included.
