Despite being the clear favourite among critics groups this season, Alfonso Cuaron's Roma hasn't actually won a huge amount of top critics prizes of late, as other titles have been given chances to bag a few as Oscar nominations draw closer. I've my own opinions about what that means / could mean, but anyway... here's another for Roma, this time from the Alliance of Women Film Journalists. The AWFJ does right by my current favourite 2018 title with five awards going its way, a fine and deserved haul for Cuaron's masterpiece.
