And it's bad news for Beale Street fans! Indeed, it's bad news for fans of critically-acclaimed independent film, as the PGA's 2018 nominees for Outstanding Producer are thin on such titles, and typically thick on the big studio hits. So it's hooray for Crazy Rich Asians, but boo for Bohemian Rhapsody and A Quiet Place, confirming once again that these voters simply don't have the taste level deserving of their status. To wit, check out the nod for The Grinch in the Animated category, over how many better options?!
