Winning more than half its 12 nominations, many assumed The Favourite would go on to take the BAFTA for Best Film. In the end, it had to settle with its already hefty haul of seven prizes as Best Film went to Roma, in what looks like an increasingly easy road to Oscar. The only other multiple winner was Bohemian Rhapsody, though it did not win the Outstanding British Film award that many of us had expected it to win after Bryan Singer's credit was recinded by BAFTA just after voting closed.
